Biography

Ms. Nyoro is a Partner in the Real Estate and Conveyancing Department of Nyaanga and Mugisha Advocates. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from Moi University and she is a Member of the Law Society of Kenya and the East Africa Law Society.

Prior to joining the firm, she worked at the firm of Kale, Maina & Bundotich Advocates where she undertook her articles of pupillage and was retained as an Associate before she rose through the ranks to be the Partner in charge of the Commercial and Conveyancing.

Her areas of practice include Conveyancing, Bank Securities, Property law, Finance and Commercial law. She has a wealth of experience in handling real estate and conveyancing transactions, bank security work as well as advising clients on financial and commercial matters.

Some of her notable transactions are listed below:

  • Acted for Telposta Pension Scheme in sale of the Scheme’s commercial and residential properties across the Country.
  • Acted for Thika Royal Palm Limited (Thika ) in a joint venture project where she was involved in streamlining the joint venture/ investment vehicle which entailed advising on and overseeing all necessary stipulations to be fulfilled; and the drafting and reviewing of relevant documents, including Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Special Purpose Vehicle, Shareholders and Share Purchase Agreement, sample documents to project future undertakings, transactions to the investors (such as leases, deeds of assignment, partial discharge, deed of variation and indemnities) and other accompanying documents.
  • Acted for Flamingo Towers Limited in a joint venture project where she was involved in streamlining the joint venture/ investment vehicles which entailed advising on and overseeing all necessary stipulations to be fulfilled; and the drafting and reviewing of relevant documents.
  • Acted for Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme in Incorporation of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme as a corporate entity and the Transfer of the Scheme’s assets worth Kshs 2,500,000,000/=, from the Trustees to the Scheme.
