Associate – Dispute Resolution
Kimutai Rotich is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department of the Firm. He holds a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M) in Dispute Resolution from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) (Hons) Degree from Kenyatta University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. His main areas of practice are commercial litigation, commercial arbitration, commercial mediation, contract negotiations, intellectual property and telecommunications law, employment and labour disputes as well as commercial transactions.
Prior to joining Nyaanga & Mugisha Advocates, Kimutai worked as an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department at the Firm of Sisule & Associates Advocates. He has also worked as Legal Assistant in KN Law LLP, Sisule Munyi Kilonzo & Associates as well as Interning at Communications Authority of Kenya and County Assembly of Kericho. He is a member of the Young ICCA and the Law Society of Kenya. Kimutai is also an alumnus of Mandela Rhodes Scholarship. During his undergraduate degree, he participated in various mooting competition including the National Rounds of Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Nairobi.
